Down on the farm: barnyard mini sessions

Well, summer is now in full swing. It’s been hitting the 100+ mark outside for several days, the river is starting to dip down to a normal level and, most importantly, the kiddos are out of school for their summer break. All parents know that that means…bored kids, looking for things to do, ‘mIright?

There’s one fun little thing they can do for at least a short break in the day, coming up this weekend. On July 25, starting at 8am, at the TS Gallant Photography Studio property, we are hosting a fun “Down on the Farm” barnyard mini sessions event. This is completely different than any other mini session that we have ever offered at the studio and boy are we super excited about it!

First, it will be outdoors, with time slots starting as early as 8am (we will go until 6pm). In the back southwest corner of the property, we have painted a little outbuilding to look like an adorable red barn. It will even have a few bales out in the front of it. There will be a John Deer riding toy with a hay wagon on the back, filled with little bales of hay, of course, for the kids to sit on for one set of photos. They will also have some tools to play with so it looks like they are working on the tractor to fix it for another set of photos. I’ll even have a wooden rocking chair and small guitar for the last set. Of course, I’m sure there will be some candid photos of kids just being kids, in between (those are usually the best, anyway). For a little bit of fancy magic, I will add an animal or two in editing, after the fact, so, it looks like there will be farm animals in the scene with them. You can choose with our without, of course. I have chickens, lambs, chicks, goats and pigs. It’s much safer than having live animals (less messy, too). It’s just photos of kids being kids, doing what they do…playing! Best of all, they don’t have to look at the camera at all so you can relax instead of telling them to “say cheese” every 5 minutes!

So, if this sounds like something you would love (and come on, who wouldn’t?), then grab a spot for your little buckaroos and cowgirls quick, before they are all gone. There are only 14 spots left for the whole day.

The cost is $75 and you will get 3 fully edited high resolution digital photos of your choice and a whole lot of fun watching your little ones play (and you know they will love it). There is always the option to purchase more, and to add print products as well. Let me know if you have any questions. Booking link below…
