Behind every session is so much more than just pushing a button on a camera. True portraiture is a blend of skill, education, equipment, artistry, vision and preparation that all comes together before the shutter ever clicks. I spend hours planning each session (usually 8 hours before a client ever arrives to a session), by scouting locations or preparing sets, going over wardrobe options, coordinating details, maintaining equipment and making sure everything runs smoothly. Speaking of wardrobe options, my client closet includes over 300 thoughtfully curated maternity gowns in a variety of styles, sizes and colors because I want your experience to feel stress-free from the start (and don’t worry, I do have some shirts and sweaters for the fellas, too, as well as 100’s of little girls dresses and some boy options, also). No need to spend $500 for a fancy maternity dress for your session when you will only wear it for a few hours. I’ve got you covered!
Your investment includes far more than the session itself, too; it includes the careful crafting of artwork that’s made of the very best materials so it will last for generations. From downloading and backing up your images to culling, editing, designing albums, preparing slideshows with the perfect music, placing your orders with the professional photo lab to ensure the highest quality products, every step is handled with thoughtfulness and care. FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS:
Because these first days only happy once…do it because it matters.
A TS Gallant Photography newborn session is designed as a peaceful, safe and fully guided fine art experience. Every detail, from studio lighting to posing to personally edited by me final images, is hand-crafted to create timeless art that you’ll treasure for a lifetime. Your baby is considered “newborn” up to 1 month of age. Each baby is unique so where one baby may sleep the entire time, the next may be awake the entire time or may cry the entire time. ALL ARE NORMAL (barring something medical going on, of course)! I will do my very best to get the most adorable images you could ever want but baby is the boss. While you may love that pose you saw on Pinterest, your baby may not want anything to do with it and I will not force the issue. I have a 3x rule. I will try a pose 3 times but that’s it. I will move on. That being said, I I will promise to try getting the poses you want but I can’t guarantee it.
