I have over 40 years of experience with newborns and children, beginning with my very first weekly-paid job at age 10, daily babysitting a toddler (yes, that was allowed, way back when). I’m a mother of three children, myself (including a spectrum child), an aunt, and a grandmother. In my life, I have also been an “auntie” to many friend’s children, a babysitting neighbor, have been employed as a full-time nanny and am a former nurse and EMT. I have been photographing babies and children for over 20 years, passed newborn posing safety courses from the world renowned Kelly Brown and have completed the in-person, intensive Baby Academy with the most famous and highly sought-after newborn photographer in the country, Ana Brandt, three different times.

The safety of ALL children is my biggest priority, so little ones are never left unattended or unsupported. Even before the outbreak of the Coronavirus and Covid-19, I practiced rigorous sanitation of props, materials, outfits and my own hands and equipment, which was drilled into me while training and working in the medical field.

Let me walk you through the steps, below.

1. An in-person consultation to discuss what image style most appeals to you, what color scheme(s) we will be using, what if any type of art you desire for display in your home and to answer any questions you may have. We will discuss props, posing, backdrop sets and wardrobe options, as well as answer any pricing questions you may have so you are ready at your separate Reveal & Ordering appointment where your photos from the session are selected.

2. Non-refundable booking retainer (applied toward your session fee), go over and sign the contract and firmly schedule both your photo session and Reveal & Ordering appointment in my calendar. I can not book your session without the non-refundable booking retainer.

3. Access to my entire client closet of couture maternity gowns, children’s clothing, newborn outfits and wraps and various accessories as well as a complimentary wardrobe fitting, so you can choose your options. This service is offered as a convenience to you and is included in the session fee (using your own wardrobe does not discount the session fee).

4. Instructional information emailed to you to help prepare you for the best session possible

5. Session day. You will be photographed in as many outfits and background sets as can be fit into your session type. Family is everything so a full session can include mom, dad, baby, siblings and well behaved pets.

6. Reveal & Ordering appointment will usually take place within a few days of your session and can often be done the same day. This is done at the studio. At this session, you will view approximately 20 unedited images and make your selection and place any additional order you may wish (not required), which will then be edited. I can accept credit or debit card payments, Venmo, Paypal or cash.

7. Editing may take anywhere from 3-30 days, depending on how many photos have been ordered (expect delays from Oct-Dec). Album design and creation takes 3-4 weeks. You may choose to wait for all of your digital images to be delivered together or wait for all to be delivered at once. You may also wait for print orders to be delivered together but know that prints and wall art arrive before albums do, by several weeks, as albums are hand crafted. Head swaps and similar major edits are $10 each, per photo.

8. Print orders will be personally delivered to you within 14-30 days of our reveal and ordering session (up to 40 days if ordering a custom leather album), depending on the number of items purchased and any album upgrades that add to production time. No order refunds will be made after money is paid. No editing changes or order substitutions can be made after order is submitted (you can add to your order).

9. Digital images will be initially trickled in via email as I edit unless you want them delivered at once. You can approve the edits before I place album orders. “Digital Collections” to be delivered on custom USB, will be after edits have been approved.
