ABOUT US

TAMMY: PHOTOGRAPHER

TL:DR Your baby is safe with me and I have 20+ years of experience, including posing and editing, so the results are truly professional.

My name is Tammy. I’ve spent 50+ years on this big ol’ Earth, most of it in Carbon County and Yellowstone County Montana, 18 of them married to my best friend. I’ve been in Laurel for a few years now and am lucky enough to have a large, 1200sf building on our property to create a studio. That means TS Gallant Photography has moved from Billings to Laurel at 1702 E Maryland Ln.

My photos have been on exhibit in London, Tel-Aviv and Brisbane as well as winning many awards in various competitions. I am a member of PPA, FPP and APNPI and participate in monthly continuing education, including in-personal training with photographers like Ana Brandt, Sue Bryce, Jason Buff, Jonny Edward, Peter Hurley and Barbara MacFerrin. In addition to being a former nurse and EMT, I have taken newborn safety courses with the famous Kelly Brown and Ana Brandt as well as through PPA and APNPI. This means that your precious newborn baby is safe with me. My genuine love for babies and children is why I chose to specialize in this genre of photography.

I know how valuable physical prints and photos are, especially after the kids are grown. I’ve lived it as a mom and still do as “Gigi” to my grandson (the star of most of my ads because he’s just so darned adorable and I love having pictures of him). Being able to see photos of my children through the years, and now my grandson, decorating the walls of my home is a tremendous gift that touches my heart every single day and I want to give that same gift to you. I promise you, someday, today’s photos of your kids and grandkids will be the most valuable, most cherished items you possess and I am deeply honored to be a part of providing those heirlooms for you.

I also understand the vulnerability we all feel in front of a camera, especially us women and even more so during the later stages of pregnancy and right after giving birth. Mommas-to-be are nervous and filled with questions like “Will I look ok”? “Will I look heavier than I am”? “Will my stretchmarks show up”? I get it. I give you my solemn vow that I will make sure you are the most beautiful “you” that you can be, which will be accomplished by a combination of wardrobe, posing, lighting, editing and, most of all, in making you feel comfortable in front of the camera (yes, it really is possible). Besides, my motto is, “If you don’t look good, I don’t look good”! plus, it helps that I have approximately 100 gorgeous couture gowns for my clients to use.

Contact me now, before another day of change in your little one passes by. Better yet, give me a call at (406)696-6760 so we can have a friendly chat. No obligation, no pressure, no salesy sales pitch (cross my heart), just some friendly chit-chat so you can tell me how I may serve you and your family.

“Tammy is an extremely talented photographer. She photographed my son and was so kind with him and very easy to work with. It was a Christmas themed photoshoot and the shots she captured were magical - like something out of a story book. I would definitely recommend Tammy for all of your photography needs and look forward to working with her again in the future.”

“Tammy is nothing short of amazing! Patience, honesty, and creativity!”

RAY: LIGHTING ASSISTANT

Lighting assistant, gear carrier, set director and my all around better half, Ray has been helping me for nearly 18 years. After retiring from 21 years of service in the Navy (as the most highly decorated person in the entire building, I might add), he agreed to accompany me on my photographic journey. I’m so lucky to have him by and on my side in life and in my business. He’s also great with children as well as tossing fabric, catching fly-away hairs and rumpled clothing and getting kids’ attention. No one could have a better partner (thank you, God).
